Welcome to the Aid2Africa.co.uk Registered Charity website

Virtually all of our children need regular financial support so they can go to school. The cost to add another child to our school in Kenya is £7 a month. This covers everything from tuition and two meals a day to uniform and exam fees. We have a number of girls now living in our children's home. it costs £14 a month to keep them there.
Please consider sponsoring a child, just email us for details. Remember EVERY PENNY COUNTS.
For more details just email us by clicking here check our our Facebook pages

World food prices have gone up and up over the past year or so. This has virtually doubled the cost of feeding the children at the school and children's home. 2012 is going to be  a challenge has we have to meet the increased cost of food and the increases in staff wages.
The pay of teacher, to match the cost of living increases, has about doubled since 2010. This means or wages bill for 2012 has in real terms doubled. We hope to finish implementing the pay increases in April this year. We have a team of very dedicated staff who deserve to be kept in line with Kenyan national pay scales.

Slum Clearance last March caused concern for 94 of our children who were made homeless

94 of the estimated 650 children made homeless by the demolition of the Kambi Suswa slum in Moi's Bridge are pupils at our school in the town. Thanks to the hard work of the local church, all our children had a temporary roof over their heads by the end of the week. Local appeals to our churches here in the midlands provided funds to buy much needed blankets and mattresses for the children. a long term solution is now being put in place.
