The plot of land has been given to them subject to them building a school on it. We are helping to make it  happen

Beulah Heights School is now OPEN

It opened on January 15th 2008

Visit their website at www.revivaltimesintl.co.zw

There are 6 teachers and 70 pupils. The Head Teacher is Gloria Nikisi Matambo and her deputy is Exy Makaripe who are pictured below.

The school classrooms we are building are still  waiting for cement to complete them. Patience will prevail and the new school will move from it's temporary home in a hall to its purpose build base at Beulah Heights.

The pride and joy of parents who can now get an education and hope for their future is reflected in the sacrifice made to buy uniforms. Some children do not have this family support, they are orphans and we will continue to help them with your support.

Left are some of the pupils of the new school. They are holding new textbooks which we have funded.

Many of these children have been denied education because despite double sitting, there were just not secondary school places available

Fees work out at about £8 per term plus a uniform.
The school wants to develop its curriculum to include a wide range of subjects at both GCE O and A level. This will take time, funds and commitment from the teachers.
The seed has been planted and we look forward to seeing it grow into a mighty tree in the community it serves.

Despite the ongoing problems with construction materials we can build a future for these young people. We need sponsorship for many children since they cannot afford to pay the fees needed to maintain their place in the school.
We have just paid the fees for the 39 pupils who could not afford to pay them. The 39 are mainly orphans and children who have lost one parent to AIDS. (February 2008)

The city of Mutare is the third largest city in Zimbabwe. It's population keeps growing in organised housing areas. One such area, Chikanga, now houses 25,000 people. It does not have a single secondary school. Some pupils can get into a school for a place in a double session school. This is where the day is split and one school full of pupils attend for one half of the day and a different school full of pupils attend for the other half day. They get half time education which is better than no education.
For these reasons
Revival Times International Ministries Church under the leadership of Pastor Zamani Sithole, has committed itself to the construction of Beulah Heights Secondary School.

October work on toilets has started digging out for the foundations of the new toilet block December 2007we have hit a problem with the supply of cement. Zimbabwe has no cement for sale. We may have to import it directly ourselves in the new year to finish the work. We have the support of local and national people involved in the Education Service in Zimbabwe, but even they seem unable to solve the problem at the moment.
