Nehemia Christian Primary School.
The same church, Revival Times Ministries, is involved in this project that is responsible for the Beulah Heights Secondary School project we have been supporting.

Situated in a rural area of Zimbabwe, Nehemia Christian Primary School will occupy stand 146, Mabasa,  Zvishavane District in Midlands Province.

The proposed primary school has three schools in the area to which children can walk. Rambofa Primary is 9 Km, Sasula Primary is just over 10 Km and Marorunidse Primary is almost 12 Km.

Bricks have been gathered / made and promises of help given. However, the economic crisis hitting businesses and the shortage of fuel for vehicles looks likely to hinder progress.
Building just two classrooms and the provision of water and toilets would cost between £8,000 and £9,000, furniture and books extra!
We do not know how many pupils are likely to want to go to the school when it is built but if there was one class per grade plus a pre-school unit, that will require a total of 8 classrooms. Teachers houses and connecting electricity comes as an extra!

We have added the school to our wish list and will update this page whenever there is any progress. Because of our commitment to other projects it may be some time before we can start to help.
