Building on success - Making a difference

St Gabriel, Chirarwe, a newly established secondary school. It is approximately 20km from Newengo.The school was recently established to avoid children walking distances of over 30km to and from Pafiwa which was the nearest secondary school. Construction started in 2003 and so far one classroom block has been completed. The second block is at roof level. We are told the school cannot operate at secondary site before the completion of the school block and at least two teachers houses. Currently the school is using the primary school as a base.
